Giveaway is now closed, thank you lovelies!
When I'm asked about handcream, I very rarely have to stop and think, I simply say "Liz Earle Hand Repair", because I truly believe it's one of the best handcreams I've ever tried. It smells divine, sinks in easily, doesn't leave a greasy residue (it leaves them matte, the first handcream I ever tried that did that!), and it leaves your hands soft and moisturised for hours on end. I may flirt with other creams whose scent I admire, but it's safe to say that in the handcream race Liz Earle has won my gold medal.
I'm a big fan of the Liz Earle brand, and have been ever since it debuted on QVC back in the mid-90s. In fact, I think my second ever purchase from QVC was a Liz Earle tester set, and I've liked the brand ever since! Their commitment to natural ingredients (though they don't claim to be certified organic), alongside a female-friendly profile - Liz is a wonderful spokesperson for the brand - and a desire to keep luxury affordable, are things I always admire.
After I wrote a little feature the other day about my dry skin tips (in response to a reader request) the company got in touch and offered to give one of my readers a set of their Superskin goodies! Perfect for treating dry, and flaky skin in winter time, the kit includes:
- Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser 30ml
- Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer 30ml
- Superskin Moisturiser 15ml
- Superskin Concentrate 2ml
- Sample size of new Superskin Eye & Lip Treatment
- 1 pure muslin cloth
- Zip-up kit bag
Now, because I'm hosting this giveaway, and because I'm a helpless over-sharer, I'll be adding a couple of prizes too, plus I will personally be providing the second prize. I'm off to IMATS the weekend of 30th/31st January, and I'll pick up some mystery gifts for the lucky winners while I'm there. They'll have to remain a mystery for now, as, well ... I haven't bought them yet! Companies exhibiting at IMATS include Ilamasqua, OCC, Crown Brush ... who knows what'll be in the bags?
To enter, all you have to do is be a follower of the blog - click the link on the right there, if you haven't already! - and add a comment to this post telling me what your particular skin-care concern is (doesn't have to be dry skin, it could be something like open pores, or dark circles for example), please leave me a valid email address and say whether you'd prefer the skincare or the fragrance. If you're not a follower of the blog, don't worry, I'll be holding a giveaway which is open to all entrants in the near future.
This giveaway is open internationally, and will the draw will be held on Sunday 7th February. We'll do our best to ensure you get your goodies in time for Valentines Day!
Great giveaway hunnie :)
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few skincare concerns, Oily skin & large pores been one of them! At the moment stil havent found anything to help my problem & some make up, such as foundation can be a nightmare for oily skin!
xoxo
Ooh, fab give away. My skin care concern is the very thin skin under my eyes. It means I have blue circles, which are rubbish. And I have yet to find a concealer that really covers them and looks natural.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to check out the handcream as well, my hands are awful at the moment.
If I were the lucky winner I would like the skincare set, I've always wanted to try Liz Earle stuff. Email: adarafu@gmail.com
woot! found the follow button! hehe
ReplyDeletemy biggest skin care concern is actually the slight wrinkling i'm getting. getting older sucks!
i would prefer the skincare if i win. i have so much perfume right now...macy's would be envious!
I've not tried Liz Earle. But my HG hand cream is by Soap & Glory, hand food is what it's called. It lussssshhhh! I keep one at work, one in my handbag and one in my kitchen, ahaha, geek!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, giveawayyy. Skincare <3 My skin is in fairly good condition at the moment (touch wood). The only concern I have is with pigmentation. It is a common problem amongst darker skinned folks. And it's such a shame there aren't many products out there in the market that actually work. I've seen some products in boots but it only contains licorice extracts, which is all well and good for lighter skin tones, but for darker skin tones, it's just not enough to work. Well in my opinion anyway. Maybe one day I will make my own product and be the saviour for darker skinned beauts. A girl can dream... ;)
Hi! I'd like to win the set please :) My skin problem is mainly just dry skin - I can never find a moisturiser to sort it out!
ReplyDeleteMy email address is: thisiscaz@live.co.uk

Wow... truly amazing giveaway hunny. So generous of both the company and yourself. Ive been hearing a lot about the Liz Earle range lately, Marcia from let there be shopping, has recommended it to me before now. Times are hard pennies wise at the moment though :( I will definitely be trying some of her products in the future though.
ReplyDeleteMy main concern I suppose is the whole aging process. I'm 28 now and I do worry about my skin and worry about them dreaded wrinkles and fine lines, so most of my skincare is aimed towards preventing the inevitable wrinkles for as long as I can. I do suffer with horrible dark circles aswell, really purple/blue ones, I hate them and have tried numerous products to try and ease them, but sadly none have worked. Also the skin under my eyes and on my eyelids is very loose, which again I hate so much. Tried so many different firming creams but to no avail. :(
The search goes on... haha.
Oh after all that, I forgot if I even said enter me, so enter me please darlin' :)

Liz Earle is certainly very generous with this. Do count me in please as I doubt I have any access to Liz Earle products here. If possible, I'd choose the fragrance.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest skin concern has to do with large open pores. Hate them!
Thanks! witoxicity8 at gmail dot com.
Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy skincare concern is getting old! My skin looks dull and wrinkled. I was horrified at the amount of wrinkles I had in the last photos someone took of me.

ReplyDeleteAmazing giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI find I have quite a few skin concerns of late. I'm in my late 20's and have seen an increase in dry skin around my T-Zone. I use a great moisturiser and exfoliate but it doesn't seem to help that much.
If I were to win, I'd love the skincare set.
Email: ceejay_cookie@yahoo.com
thanks xxxx
What a fabulous giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteMy #1 skin care concern is acne. My body seems to be going trough a second puberty. I am in my 30's. No matter what I try, nothing seems to help. I get big blemishes under the skin that are very sore.
email is sweetmelf @ yahoo (dot) ca
thank you so much!
I would be interested in the fragrance. :)
My main skin care concern is sensitivity. Everything seems to irritate my skin! And if I won I'd choose the fragrance :)
ReplyDeletecalidreamin87 (at) gmail (dot) com
yayyee i was actually waiting for a giveaway by you.

sarahali101@hotmail.com
Oh my goodness, what an amazingly generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy skincare concern would be getting dry lips. It doesn't just happen in winter, i often have lips so dry they crack and sting.
Also i have slight rosacea, especially lower down on my cheeks.
I'd love to win the skincare set.
my email address is:
queen-cry-baby@hotmail.com
i also wanted to say it's lovely that you'll be doing a giveaway open to people who aren't even following you, you're so kind :)
Delightful! I'd love to try the skincare stuff as I've been wondering whether to spring for the hot cloth polish stuff - my skin is v.congested and I have trouble not picking.
ReplyDeleteOh - e-mail is ladybirdpicnic@gmail.com.
Great giveaway, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMy skincare concerns seems to be multiple and incurable at the moment. My skin's dry, so I'm using loads of moisturiser (I have the same Neal's Yard Frankincense one as you), but I'm also having a spot outbreak - even though my face couldn't be less greasy! Maybe it's too much moisturiser, but what am I meant to do?! They seem to be going now, but I've no idea what triggered the little blighters! I'd think I had the pox if I hadn't already had them!
I'd (obviously) love the dry skin kit, if I won. Email: laurawheat@hotmail.com.
Thanks lovely x
Skincare concerns? God where do I begin?! The little wrinkles that are creeping under my eyes at the grand old age of EIGHTTEEN,the dark circles, flakey forehead, open pores on my cheeks..
ReplyDeleteOk so it's probably not as bad as I make it out to be and generally it's in good condition but all the little niggles do get annoying and cost me a fortune! If I won I would like the skincare prize.
Great Contest btw!

Great giveaway! I've always struggled with very dry hands especially with teh job I have. I am handling chemicals all day washing my hands constantly so in the winter they can easily end up so dry they crack and bleed. I'm very curious about that hand cream now as I can't stand oily lotions!
ReplyDeleteLoving your blog!
ReplyDeleteDark circles are my ultimate problem. I know a lot of it is down to genetics but that doesn't make me feel much better as I struggle to find something that doesn't make me look like I've been in a fight every day haha.
Pleeeeeease help!
If I'm lucky enough to win a prize I'd love the Liz Earle skin care set x
eek open pores, oiliness and spots especially on my chin are - I am 31 I thought I would have grown out of this by now :( I would prefer the fragrance oh to have drier skin :(
ReplyDeleteHey :)
ReplyDeleteMy current face care issue is dryness around the eyes, I have been using my normal eye rollerball from Garnier and it's stopped working. I checked inside it and there is plenty of product left so I don't know what the situation is there. I'll be trying more eye creams in the hope that I figure this out.
I would love the skin care if I was to win this :)
I have generally dry skin and im pregnant so I know its only going to get worse! One of the best face creams for dry skin I have ever used is Avons Dry skin sos, and I have used everything from medicated to high end expensive creams!
ReplyDeleteWooHoo - Love Liz Earle!
ReplyDeleteMy main skin concern is dryness. I guess i have genetically dry skin, which is also badly dehydrated due to my dislike of drinking water and fondness for diet coke and cider (not together, just to be clear ;0). I use Liz Earle clense and polish everyday and follow with lashings of superskin moisturiser. This routine really keeps my skin in check. Would love to try the perfume, so if i won that woud be my pref. Thanks xxx
I'm so jealous that you're going to the IMATS!

Hoping that I'm as lucky in this comp as you were in ours - although the odds are rather smaller.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a real skincare concern right now (apart from smelling of fish ;)) but I do get the odd whopper of a spot so I suppose I'm on the lookout for blemish treatments.
I'd like to try the perfume, if I get lucky.
What a lovely generous give away! I do already have a few bits from Liz Earle but going to enter anyway as other bits sound intriguing... can never have too many beauty bits (thats not entirely true actually, you can).
ReplyDeleteMy skincare concern is the laughter lines under my eyes- they shouldn't be there and I want them gone! :)
So now I am following you, am I still stalking you?
ReplyDeleteI remember Liz Earle when she was a journo on GMTV!
How did I miss this! What fab prizes!
ReplyDeleteI have so many skin concerns. I am mostly concerned about signs of aging, I have a lot of fine lines and a couple of lines that aren't fine! Then we have the large pores... then we have the hormonal acne once a month (I'm 35!) sob. But mainly the wrinkles are my major concern.
If I won I think I'd choose the fragrance as it sounds lovely.

Ooh, thanks for the reminder, missed your original post. I couldn't belive it when I saw you'd only been blogging 6 months. Well done on a fantastic blog!
ReplyDeleteLiz Earle are a great company, some great articles on their site (see fact sheets, under skincare experts).
My my most pressing skin concern of the minute is a strange dry patch thats appeared next to my lip since last weekend. It's highly anoying as it's putting me off trying my IMATS goodies in case it sensitivity related. I've been treating it with Liz's superskin concentrate which is really balancing for out of kilter skin.
I'd love to try the perfume.

My email addy is missdollygal@gmail.com and I'd love the skincare.

it would be great to try the skincare set. My concern for my skin is, I've used various products to lighten dark spots caused by acne/pimple scarring. But it's to no avail..it's still there!!! and when one dark spot starts to fade, another pimple will pop out and then leave another scar. *Frustration*
ReplyDeleteThats the main concern that i'm battling as for now.
Thanks,
pink.fabulush@gmail.com
I feel so lucky that I made it in time for this giveaway opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI have never used any of the Liz Earle products but it looks like this skincare line is just what I need. I never had issues with dry skin before moving to the states since I used to live in a tropical environment. After moving to a cold and dry weather, my skin has been flaky and itchy however I can't use anything too oily because it will have a tendency to break out my skin. Help!
email: lugosh@gmail.com
Thanks!!
Ah what an excellent giveaway, so generous!! I feel quite lucky with my skin if I'm honest but sometimes it can look a bit dull and my cheeks a bit too rosy! I'd love to win the skincare set :)
