What's on my face this week? 27.09.15
I'm coming to the end of my "testing phase" with a few products right now, and to celebrate I'm going to be having a bit of a skincare week on the blog from tomorrow, so look out for some in-depth reviews from then. In the meantime, here's some pictures of the routines I've been using. Above is Monday's faceful, I'd dug out some old Aesop faithfuls from the stash, and you'll be seeing quite a bit more of these now we're heading into cooler weather.
Tuesday's face was mainly blue - I brought my Serozinc back out of semi-retirement - and this was a nice routine.
Wednesday brought back Bioderma, no one does these soothing and healing sprays (especially good for skins prone to redness as mine is) like the French skincare brands.
More after the jump.
I've been trying quite a few bits from the Pixi Skintreats range recently, and I really like them. None of them make stupidly over-exaggerated claims, and they quietly deliver what they say they will. Nicely priced too! I'll be covering more of the products in more detail in coming weeks.
A lovely, colourful routine for a Friday! I was excited to try the First Aid Beauty Daily Face Cream, but I have to admit I had a little burning sensation on first use, so I'm reserving judgement for a little while. I could just have been having a sensitive moment on Friday morning. It happens ...
I, er ... forgot to photograph the skincare I used on Saturday morning, because I wasn't really awake, (shame, as there was a new product in there!) but I did capture what I used before bed last night. More Pixi! I very rarely use a routine featuring products from just one brand, but I do feel oddly satisfied when I do, and this was one of those occasions. This was my first use of Overnight Glow Serum, but the signs are good so far ...
On Sundays I sit around the house in pyjamas and write, so my routines are simple. This morning I just washed with Zelens Z Pure, which I like a lot, and followed it with a few (a very few) drops of Omorovicza Miracle Facial Oil, which is its first outing on the Lippie mush. I'll keep you posted on how I get on with it.
What does your week in skincare look like?

My skincare routine right now is very simple. I'm using a retinol cream, and the Clinique repair wear serum :p I love yours though. It's so pretty to look at all the bottles too! :)
